What is the best section to sit at the Marlins game? ›

The best seats for a Miami Marlins game are located in the Diamond Club seats located behind home plate or the Clubhouse Box seats along the first and third baselines.

Nestled in the south Florida neighborhood known as “l*ttle Havana,” the $515 million, 37,000-seat loanDepot (formerly Marlins) Park is a meticulously engineered piece of art. The stadium has the largest retractable roof in major league sports, covering a staggering 7.7 acres.

The six panels are a combined 240 feet (73 m) long and 60 feet (18 m) high. An air-conditioning system will cool the average temperature to 75 °F (24 °C) with the roof and glass panels closed.

loanDepot park has large windows over the left field wall providing a view of the Miami skyline, but the orientation of the stadium means the sun will never shine directly through during game time. The opaque roof does an excellent job of blocking out the sun just about everywhere in the park.

Best seats for views of the field

Well, those seats behind home plate are actually known as "scout seats" because it's normally where insiders sit to review individual player performances. But with great tickets, come great price tags - scout seats are, predictably, some of the most expensive viewpoints.

Look on Marlins Park Information under permitted items. "Individual serving size food items placed in a clear plastic bag (e.g. sandwiches, snacks, sliced fruits, etc.)". Also one sealed bottle of water each is allowed - 20 ounces or smaller.

The area, which includes part of Overtown, is a stone's throw from the old Orange Bowl and future location of the new Marlins ballpark. People in the area have a 1-in-5 chance of becoming the victim of a violent crime, which is way better than your chances of catching a foul ball or leaving the game with a souvenir.

All in all, if I were purchasing season tickets at Marlins Park, I would be inclined to buy a seat in the Lexus Legends Level on the first base side, probably section 210 or 211. The Home Plate Box right below would be a good option as well.

Lower bowl seats are close to the action, while upper levels offer panoramic views. For cheaper options, consider seats in upper corners or end zones. During Bears games, the best seats are around the 30-50-yard lines, 20 rows up.

The best seats for a Tampa Bay Rays game are located in the aforementioned Home Plate Club, or the Whitney Bank Club. Any seats around the infield will offer great views of the game, and loyal Rays fans (the few of them) will tell you that even the nosebleed seats offer great views.
