Describe yourself in 3 words?

I would say passionate, driven, and kind.

We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?

I originally began posting pictures of myself on instagram back in 2018 shortly after I graduated high school. I had always wanted to be a model so posting photos of myself on instagram was a creative outlet for me. After I started gaining followers I decided to expand my socials and ended up creating a youtube channel! Now years later here I am!

How has this changed your life?

I can’t even begin to describe just how dramatically social media has changed my life. It feels so surreal. I’ve been given the opportunity to meet so many people, make so many new friends, and experience so many amazing things all due to my job as a content creator.

Who influenced you and why did you choose to be a content creator and a gamer?

There are so many creators that have inspired me in so many different ways throughout my journey as a content creator, but just to name a few: Alexis Ren really inspired me in the beginning of my career. In reference to gaming and streaming, I was heavily inspired by BrookeAB.

I’ve always loved gaming ever since I was little, so when I discovered live streaming I thought it would be a fun hobby to get into. Now I basically do it full time.

Now let’s talk about Twitch and how big your name and exposure has grown over the last months. That’s amazing! When did you decide to create your own channel?

I first created my Twitch channel back in 2019 I think. This was before I had a gaming PC so I would just stream from my Playstation 4 while sitting on my couch. My setup wasn’t very cute but I still had a lot of fun!

What is different from your account or style of playing vs other famous gamers?

I try really hard to engage with my community as much as possible while I’m gaming. It’s like we’re all just best friends hanging out.

How often do you release new content/play online?

I try to release new content daily across all of my platforms. Although it does get overwhelming at times.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to playing online?

Typically I aim to stream around 10-15 hours a week depending on how busy my schedule is.

What is the most rewarding part of your work?

Getting to make new friends is definitely one of the most rewarding parts about my work!

As a popular gamer and influencer, you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of always doing the right thing, and encouraging people to follow their dreams?

It does get overwhelming having so many eyes on me all at once, but being able to inspire even just one person is such a gift in itself. I’ve been inspired by countless people throughout my life, so having the ability to inspire others is such a cool feeling.

Do you have a preference for certain types of games or do you have plans in maybe creating your own games?

I enjoy playing many different types of games such as shooters like Fortnite and Call of Duty, sandbox games such as Minecraft, and challenging games such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring. However I always find myself drawn to horror games. They’re always so fun to play!

If you weren’t famous, what would you be up to right now?

I would probably be working with animals in some way. I’ve always wanted to have my own animal sanctuary.

Tell us about your company Gloom-E-Girl? And what is different from this vs. other e-gaming companies?

Gloom-E-Girl is a group of likeminded female gamers. In the gaming space women don’t get the same kind of representation since it’s currently a heavily male dominated industry. Our goal is to represent women and open the door to new opportunities to women in gaming. We also love creating content together on TikTok, YouTube and Twitch.

How can people learn more about this or how do you guys select new members in the company?

We look for consistent creators that love creating content, love gaming and work well with others. We’re always on the lookout to expand the team!

What is the feeling of sharing this huge success with your sister Lauren?

Having the privilege of working alongside my twin sister is something I will always be incredibly grateful for. Lauren inspires me to work hard and never give up on my goals, so being able to enjoy our success together is such a blessing.

What book should every entrepreneur read?

Honestly I don’t really read many books. However I do love watching interviews that other successful creators have done. I find them very inspiring and eye opening, I always want to work harder after watching them.

What would you say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?

I’ve learned that it’s ok to let go of toxic people. I used to keep so many unhealthy friendships in my life because I could never stand up for myself and I thought it was normal for friends to treat you that way. True friends will only ever be a positive force in your life and I’ve learned to only put my energy towards positive things. It’s ok to let go of some people.

What advice would you give to your younger self and why?

Stop caring what other people think of you and just be unapologetically yourself. I used to get so caught up in what other people might be thinking about me and it was so toxic for my mental health and it really held me back. I’m a lot happier now that I’ve stopped caring about other people’s opinions of me.

How would your best friend describe you?

Adventurous, wild and supportive.

What’s next for Julia Burch in 2023?

I have so many exciting things in the works for this year. New channels, new projects, new adventures. I can’t share a lot of the details just yet but definitely stay tuned!

What is your favorite healthy food?

Bok choy for sure, I eat it almost everyday!

And your favorite cheat food?

Definitely pasta or ramen.

How would you explain your fashion style?

I would say grunge/cyberpunk/Egirl.

What is your own definition of happiness?

I think happiness can be different for a lot of people, but for me I’d say happiness is just finding enjoyment in every single thing that I do.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Probably Gordon Ramsay. I think that would be super cool!

What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?

I would definitely want to go to Japan with Lauren. I think we would have a blast!

Best advice ever given?

Stop worrying about what other people think of you and stop worrying about what other people are doing. There are so many people out there that thrive off of drama and are constantly in other people’s business. Putting my time and energy towards more positive things has been a healthy change for me.

Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?

I see myself with a bunch of animals, still doing exactly what I’m doing now but on a larger scale. I’m really happy with where I am in life but I always want to move forward and achieve even greater things!

What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?

It has to be either Enemy by Imagine Dragons or Unravel – Tokyo Ghoul

What do you think of Social Media?

I think social media is an amazing thing but it can also be a really bad thing. It has given me so many amazing opportunities and allowed me to meet so many new friends! However it also is filled with a lot of negativity and toxicity which is unfortunate.

Where can we follow you?

I’m on almost every platform! Instagram / Twitter / Twitch / TikTok / Snapchat / YouTube / Onlyfans
